How we work

Four steps, from first visit to settle-in

Design consultation
We begin with you - the rooms, the light, how you gather, rest, and move through the house. Style, budget, and timeline sit on the table from the first conversation.

Materials & drawings
Fabrics, weaves, foams, wallpapers, and finishes are sampled in person. Once the direction is clear, we lock dimensions and production drawings.

Make & quality
Pieces are manufactured in our Pune workshop. You receive progress photographs. Every sofa, curtain drop, and mattress is checked before it leaves.

Site & settle-in
We deliver, install, and walk the rooms with you. After handover we remain available for adjustments, care advice, and the next layer of the home.

Since 1989

A family workshop in Pune

The Living Room started in 1989 in a humble setup. It was well received in the local areas - people recognised the honesty in materials, the care in customisation, and products built to last.

Bhushan Kale leads the first conversation. Anagha Kale runs production. Soft furnishings and site fitting stay in the family, so a curtain drop and a seat depth are decided together.
